Review: The Parlour Midtown, an offshoot of the Upper West Side spot that’s certainly not another typical, dimly lit Irish pub. Billed as “New York City’s first Irish-style
gastro-steakhouse,” it features the usual Irish fare, along with more daring bar snacks and a high-end line of steaks, lamb and grilled tuna. The décor is sleek
and modern –a black granite bar top with 20 seats anchoring the main room, gigantic exaggerated portraits of famous Irish folk (Bono!) adorning
the walls and a series of tables and booths scattered throughout two separate floors. This upscale establishment features a main floor &
spacious loft with over 27 flat-screen HDTVs scattered throughout the venue. I should satiate the after-work and MSG-bound
crowds—especially if you count the two screens in the men's restroom. – Kevin Morris (USGB, Inc.)
