The Empire State Building - is a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper built in 1931 in New York City, NY on the intersection of 5th Ave. & W. 34th St. It cost $40,948,900 to build and stood as the world's tallest building for more than forty years until the construction of the World Trade Center in 1970. It is now once again the tallest building in New York, after the destruction of the World Trade Center (R.I.P.) in the September 11, 2001 attacks.
